In keeping with the event’s theme – Building for the Future, this year’s giving opportunities are named for the visionaries among history’s most famous architects. FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT $25,000 Although he never attended architecture school, Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1958) is America’s most well-known architect. During his 70 year career, he designed more than 1,100 buildings; 409 still stand including Taliesin West, his winter home in the Arizona desert, and now a school for architecture. For a contribution of $25,000, your company will have the naming rights for the new wing at the North Site. The Health Center will recognize your company’s commitment by prominently displaying your corporate name and logo within the renovated North Site and with a 16”X 24”brick on the Donor Walkway. GLFHC will credit your corporation as the gala’s Premier Event Sponsor on all press, print, and media materials. In addition to a listing on the event website, sponsorship also includes a full page inside front cover ad in the Program Book.Your company will receive 25 tickets to the event and reserved table seating. I.M. PEI $10,000 Known as the last master of high modernist architecture, Ieoh Ming Pei (1917 - ) and his glass clad structures are highly visible fixtures in Boston. His work includes the Moakley Courthouse, JFK Library, John Hancock Tower,West Wing of the Museum of Fine Arts, and design of Government Center. For $10,000, your corporate name and logo will be prominently displayed in the main reception area at the North Site and on a 16” X 16” brick square on the Donor Walkway. Your company will receive special recognition at the annual gala, and a corporate mention in all print and media materials.Your sponsorship includes a full page ad on the back inside cover of the Program Book, a listing on the event website, and 20 tickets for reserved seating at the event. R. BUCKMINSTER FULLER $5,000 R. Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983) considered his life an experiment. He was an architect, philosopher, and poet who conceived the geodesic dome – a remarkable, sphere-like structure hailed as a possible solution to world housing shortages. A $5,000 sponsorship includes a prominent display of your corporate name and logo in the reception area for the North Site pharmacy and on an 8” X 16” brick within the Donor Walkway. In addition to being introduced at the annual fundraiser as a prominent supporter, your company will receive a listing on the event website, a full page ad in the Program Book, and 15 tickets for reserved seating at the gala. CHARLES BULFINCH $2,500 Before being commissioned to complete the Capitol Building in Washington D.C., Charles Bulfinch (1763-1844) was famous in New England for designing elegant private residences, churches, and public buildings and for modernizing the city of Boston. For a contribution of $2,500, your corporate name will appear on a plaque displayed in the providers’ offices and conference areas at the North Site.Your company will also be recognized for its support with an 8” X 8” brick square on the Donor Walkway. Additional recognition includes a listing on the event website, a 1⁄2 page ad in the Program Book, and 15 tickets for reserved seating at the gala. SIR CHRISTOPHER WREN $1,500 Sir Christopher Wren (1632-1723) was an English architect, mathematician, scientist, and inventor. When the Great Fire of London destroyed most of the city in 1666, King Charles II commissioned Wren to oversee the design and rebuilding of London. He is best known as the architect of St. Paul’s Cathedral. For a $1,500 contribution, your corporate name will appear on a plaque in one of our new or renovated examination rooms at the North Site as well as on a 4” X 8” brick on the Donor Walkway.Your company will also receive event recognition as a Table Sponsor, a listing on the event website, a 1⁄4 page ad in the gala’s Program Book, and 10 tickets to the event.
